Water
Most local people do not drink the water from the tap. In fact, they are willing to spend the little money they make to buy purified drinking water in five-gallon plastic containers from a water station. That tells me something Do Not Drink The Water. What will happen if I drink the water from the tap? One thing that might happen is a condition in which feces are discharged from the bowels frequently and in a liquid form. I drinking nothing but bottled water or beer. I still have diarrhea. Why? Most common mistake visitors make is drinking liquid in a glass with ice cubes. Ice cube is just water in a solid form.
The best thing to do is buy bottled water. Keep your water cold with this. If you outside Angeles City and find yourself in a small village or district and far from the store the easiest way to purify water is through boiling.
Sex
HIV infection and STD are all over the world and for some reason, some people think these things don’t happen in the Philippines. There no justification for this type of thought but it happens. You should get a lot of condoms before you fly to the Philippines buy in bulk here and save. Let be honest most men do not go to the Philippines to sightsee. You do not want to be in a Hotel room with a woman and thinking dam I should have bought some condoms.
Prostitution is illegal in the Philippines with that being said if you find that special someone used a condom. Plus do you want to buy condoms from a random man that sells them on Walking Street? What about BJ? You still can get STD with BJ. What about if I’m old as hell and I going to die soon anyway? Be considerate of others wrap it up anyway not everybody is as ancient as you. To keep it simple no glove no love.
BONUS TIPS
Socket
North American standard of 120 volts at a frequency of 60 Hz. The Philippines is 220 v. A big difference I burn out one of my electrical devices. I was in a rush and not paying attention. I Learn my lesson to prevent this from happening to you we recommend picking up a Universal Travel Adaptor before you leave.
Electricity
The electrical supply in the Philippines is sporadic. You get a lot of (brownouts) in the Philippines an attempt to reduce the voltage on electrical grid to prevent a power outage known as a blackout. In a few places, you have a total blackout that can last between 10 minutes to 10 hours. If you visit the Philippines for 2 or 3 weeks there a good chance you will not experience this. It also depends on the season you go to the Philippines and where you are at in the Philippines to name a few. If a power supply is important to you. Get a power bank at least you keep your cell phone and Tablets powered.

Restroom
People in the Philippines refer to restroom or bathroom as CR or COMFORT ROOM.
Why they call it comfort room I have no idea. The restroom is disgusting for most small establishments and some bars. Now for your hotel bathroom, you be fine. The Mall and big restaurant the restroom is adequate. If you going to the bus station have coins. It cost 5 pesos to piss and 10 pesos to take a dump. Like I said earlier the bathroom is disgusting if you taking a dump in one of these restrooms that mean you are brave or the call of nature was too strong. You can get this pocket-size wipe or go native style. What native style? That would be hand, water, and butt. Can I get some soap with that? Not likely. But do not worry you can buy small soap or soap containers here.
Sunblock
Carry sunblock around with you, Angeles city has a Tropical wet and dry climate. It is easy to get burnt in Angeles don’t be miserable and sore for your vacation. You don’t want to be Walking around looking like a lobster on land. You can get Sunscreen Stick since it’s not a liquid it will be easier to carry onto a plane in large amounts.
